Mostafa Abdelghany

Mostafa Abdelghany has extensive experience in cybersecurity and security operations, currently serving as the Systems Security Planning, Operations and SOC Architecture Manager at Etisalat Egypt since January 2014. In this role, responsibilities include establishing security automation and integration enhancements, and managing Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems. Previous positions at Etisalat include managing the Security Operations Center (SOC) and incident management, where duties encompassed hiring and training SOC staff, assessing incidents, and reporting on security operations to executive management. Earlier career experiences include roles in security administration, technical support, and specializing in cybersecurity at various companies, including ICOPACK, ValueSYS, and the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology in Egypt. Mostafa holds a Cyber Security Diploma from MCIT and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Banha University.
