Bahtiyar Kara has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Bahtiyar began their career as an intern at Koç Sistem in 2009. Bahtiyar then interned at Lc Waikiki in 2010 before joining Alcatel-Lucent as a final project participant. In 2011, Bahtiyar started working at Huawei Technologies as an Assistant Software Engineer, where they developed enterprise applications for telecom companies and worked on CRM projects for Warid Telecom in Egypt and Pakistan. Bahtiyar later transitioned to the role of Software Engineer, working on the TeliaSonera CPL 1.5 Sweden Project and spending time at Huawei's R&D center in China as a J2EE developer. Bahtiyar then became a Solutions Architect at Huawei, gaining over 5 years of customer support and onsite experience, including projects in Egypt, Pakistan, China, Sweden, Turkey (Turkcell), Hongkong, Iran, and Saudi Arabia. Bahtiyar has experience in big data and data visualization using Tableau, Hadoop, and Spark for customer experience management projects, as well as designing XDR and SDR level data. Most recently, Bahtiyar joined Etiya in 2019 as a Solutions Architect, and in 2022 was promoted to Senior Solutions Architect.

Bahtiyar Kara completed a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering from Istanbul University, studying from 2006 to 2011. In addition, Bahtiyar holds several certifications in various fields obtained from institutions such as TM Forum and The Open Group. These certifications include: Business Process Framework (eTOM) Practitioner Level, The Open Group Certified: TOGAF® 9 Certified, AI Foundation Level, Digital Business Ecosystems Foundation Level (Updated), Digital Maturity & Transformation Foundation Level, Open Digital Architecture Foundation Level, Revenue Assurance Fundamentals, Transition to Virtualization Foundation Level, Application Framework (TAM) Foundation Level Exam (Updated), Customer Centricity Foundation Level Exam (Updated), Information Framework (SID) Foundation Level Exam (Updated), TM Forum Open API Foundation Level Exam, Business Process Framework (eTOM) Foundation Level Exam (Updated), TMForum Frameworx Foundation Level Exam (Updated), TOGAF® 9.2 Foundation, Customer Centricity Foundation Level, Digital Business Ecosystems Foundation Level, Application Framework (TAM) Foundation Level, Business Process Framework (eTOM) Foundational Level, and Frameworx Foundation Level. The certifications were obtained between 2018 and 2021.
