In 2019, they briefly worked as a Production Planning Engineer at Aurafix - TSD Sağlık Ürünleri A.Ş.

Burcu Ekmen attended Medipol University from 2016 to 2021, where they studied Industrial Engineering. In addition to their degree, they obtained several certifications. In November 2019, they received a certification in Ensemble Process, Strategy, and Performance Management System from Bimser Çözüm. In March 2019, they obtained a certification in TS EN ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System Risk Based Process Management from Türk Standardları Enstitüsü.
