Mehmet KIŞ has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Mehmet started their career at Maersk Line as a Software Engineer, where they developed and maintained container shipping software. Later, they joined Ziraat Teknoloji as a Senior Software Engineer and then progressed to become a Software Development Team Leader, responsible for implementing Agile development and managing software projects for the Commercial Loans Department of Ziraat Bank.

In 2012, Mehmet joined Intertech Information Technology and Marketing Inc. as an Infrastructure Software Team Leader, where they developed a Business Process Management software integrated with Inter-Vision. Mehmet utilized ASP.NET MVC, AJAX, XML, and SOA technologies for this project.

In 2016, Mehmet joined VakıfBank as a Mobile Banking Manager and later became the Application Development Infrastructure Manager, overseeing research, development, data analytics, business intelligence, and software quality units. Mehmet also focused on innovation and creating an innovation ecosystem within the bank, implementing biometric security and disruptive technologies.

In 2021, Mehmet became the Chief Technology Officer at SmartMessage, responsible for global software development teams and IT infrastructure. Mehmet led strategic IT planning, implementation, and support worldwide, improving IT performance and service levels.

Currently, Mehmet is the Director of Cloud Infrastructure and Technology at Etiya, a position they assumed in March 2023. In this role, they are responsible for the overall management of cloud infrastructure and technology within the organization.
