Nazim Efe has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several companies and industries.
Nazim began their career as a Software Developer at Etibank in 1998, where they developed various applications for different departments and created the bank's first official website.
In 1999, they joined Pamukbank as a Senior System Programmer, specializing in system security for IBM Mainframe and banking applications.
In 2001, Efe became a Project Leader at AVEA, where they led projects for a period of four years before transitioning to Ericsson.
At Ericsson, they held the roles of Consultant Team Leader/Line Manager and Functional Billing Manager. Nazim managed network interface-related teams and projects and was responsible for the Customer Care and Billing Service Department.
Nazim returned to AVEA in 2009 and held various roles including Program Manager, Billing Charging & Business Intelligence Solutions Director, IT Development Director, and Technology Operations Senior Director. Nazim played a key role in establishing holistic technology operations and implementing unified operational processes for network and IT.
In 2014, Efe joined Turk Telekom as the Technology Group Operations Senior Director, where they held the position for two years.
Nazim then worked as a freelance consultant for various projects, including technical procurement and contract management for a telco operator in the Far East, operational excellence for an MVNO in North America, and IT reorganization and process improvement for a leading retail company in Turkey.
In 2017, they became an Executive Board Member at TURKTICARET.NET A.S., where they represented the 50% shareholders and led blockchain initiatives.
Their most recent position is with Yildiz Holding, starting in 2019, where they serve as the IT Vice President for Business Solutions.
Currently, Efe holds the position of Head of Transformation and CEO Office at Etiya, a role they assumed in 2022.
Nazim Efe attended Orta Doğu Teknik Üniversitesi / Middle East Technical University from 1993 to 1998. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Computer Engineering. In 2020, they also briefly studied at Harvard Business School, where they focused on the field of Global Business. The degree obtained from Harvard Business School is not specified.
