Dan Poxon

Dan Poxon has a strong background in sales and business development in the eyewear industry. Dan is currently working at Etnia Barcelona as the Canada Sales Manager, a role they began in February 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Kering Eyewear as a District Manager from May 2019 to January 2023. Before that, they spent several years at Safilo in various positions, including Business Development Manager for the Pacific Northwest, Business Development Manager for Ontario and Western Canada, and Regional Manager. Dan also worked as a Sales Agent at Safilo, handling wholesale sales and customer service for various brands. Dan Poxon began their career at Centennial Optical Limited as a Sales Representative in 2004. Prior to that, they worked at Viva Canada Inc. as a Sales Representative, where they launched various eyewear brands and received the rep of the year award in 1998.

Dan Poxon completed their Bachelor of Arts degree with distinction in Philosophy and Religious Studies from the University of Calgary from 1998 to 2000. Dan then pursued further studies at the same institution, earning a Master of Arts degree in Studies with a focus on the History of Religions from 2003 to 2006.
