Janine Gervais

Janine Gervais is the Director at the Etobicoke Humane Society. Janine has over 16 years of experience in leadership roles in the restaurant and airline industries. Janine has a proven track record in developing and executing strategies that improve operational efficiencies and grow revenue.

Janine started their career in the airline industry as the Director of Passenger Experience for the Greater Toronto Airports Authority. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing all aspects of the passenger experience, from check-in and baggage claim, to security and customs, to passenger amenities and services. Janine was instrumental in developing and implementing strategies that improved customer satisfaction and increased revenue.

In 2018, Janine left the airline industry to pursue a career in consulting. Janine joined SIX Inc., a management consulting firm specializing in strategy, operations, and organizational transformation. As a Consultant and Partner at SIX, they advised clients on how to improve their operations and grow their businesses.

In 2019, Janine joined Service Inspired Restaurants (SIR Corp.), a privately-owned Canadian restaurant company with sixty locations. In their role as Senior Director of Business Operations & Strategy, they were responsible for leading strategic planning, business planning, talent sourcing, and omni-channel partnerships. Janine also advised the C-Suite on government regulations and made recommendations on communications, process & procedures, and policy.
