Benjamin Smith

Benjamin Smith is an accomplished development professional with extensive experience in fundraising and relationship management across various educational institutions. Currently serving as the Director of Development at Eton College since May 2022, Benjamin leads strategic fundraising initiatives to support the College's mission. Previously, Benjamin held notable positions such as Head of Development at the Canadian International School of Hong Kong, and Director of Development and Middle East Recruitment at Leysin American School in Switzerland, where significant achievements included launching a capital campaign and establishing an endowed scholarship. Benjamin's earlier roles include Associate Director of Major Gifts at the University of New Hampshire and Director of Annual Giving & Alumni Relations at New England College. Benjamin holds a JD from Suffolk University Law School and a BA from the University of New Hampshire.
