Jeanette Thorne

Teacher at Eton College

Jeanette is responsible for developing and delivering Eton College’s professional development framework and supporting the welfare of those staff directly involved in the delivery of the curriculum. She works closely with Heads of Department, the Teaching and Learning team and the HR Director.

Jeanette arrived at Eton in 1995 after completing her PGCE at York University. During her time here she has developed and run our Induction and Teacher Training programmes for Masters, as well as being Director of Professional Development and, for the last five years, Head of the Mathematics Department.

Jeanette has two daughters.
