Karen read law at Exeter University and is a solicitor. She joined Eton in 2019, after 20 years at city law firms Herbert Smith and Denton Wilde Sapte and then as in-house counsel at the Rugby Football Union and the Lawn Tennis Association.

At Eton, Karen deals with a wide range of legal and compliance matters affecting the College and supports the Provost & Fellows’ governance function.
