Mercedes I. Porcel Martin

Mercedes I. Porcel Martin MA is an experienced educator and administrator with a strong background in Spanish language instruction and cultural engagement. Currently serving as a Trustee of Charity for Eton Action and Head of the Spanish Department at Eton College, Mercedes also leads initiatives in Hispanic Theatre and coordinates various outreach programs and events. Prior roles include proofreading for Cambridge University Press & Assessment, conference organization for FLECOS Granada, and examination writing for ISEB. With a career spanning over three decades, Mercedes has also held teaching positions at diverse educational institutions and has contributed to community and diversity initiatives at Eton College.
