Mike Hughes

Mike Hughes has a robust career in finance and coaching, currently retired since September 2018. From September 2011, Mike has served as a Fives coach at Eton College. Prior to retirement, Mike held significant positions in finance, including Assistant Director at The ECU Group plc from June 2004 to March 2011, where responsibilities included co-managing trading and risk, as well as interfacing between trading, prime broker, and middle office operations. Mike also worked at JPMorgan Chase Bank as Vice President from January 2000 to June 2003, focusing on marketing credit derivative and FX structured products. Prior experience includes being Assistant Director at Fleming & Co Ltd from August 1985 to December 1999, where Mike led a structured product desk and engaged with the high net worth individual market. Academic qualifications include a BA Hons in German & History from Queen Mary College, London University.
