John Ang

John Ang has a diverse work experience in the field of technology and education. John is currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer at EtonHouse International Education Group, a position they have held since July 2021. Prior to this, they worked as the Chief Technology Officer at the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants from December 2018 to June 2021. John also has experience as the Director of IT & Education Technology at The Learning Lab, Singapore from September 2015 to December 2018. Before that, they held the role of Head of IT Planning, Applications, and Communications at Singapore Institute of Technology from February 2010 to September 2015. John's earlier work experience includes being a Director, IT / Co-founder at Info121 from July 2004 to February 2010, a Technical Director at EQT from December 2001 to June 2004, and an IT Consultant at various companies including SIA and Zenith from January 1998 to December 2001.

John Ang earned a Bachelor of Information Technology (1st class HONS) from The University of Queensland from 1994 to 1997. Prior to that, they completed their GCE A Level at Yishun Junior College, Singapore from 1991 to 1992. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications in IT-related fields, including Certification in IT Business Continuity Management from Singapore Computer Society in 2022, Certified Information Systems Auditor® (CISA) and Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) in 2021, COBIT 5 (2012-Found) Foundation in 2015, TOGAF® 9 Certification Program in 2013, Project Management Professional (PMP)® in 2010, Microsoft Certified Application Developer (MCAD) and Microsoft Certified Professional Developer: Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 (MCPD) in 2005. John is also recognized as a Senior Member by the Singapore Computer Society.
