Daniel Gladding

Daniel Gladding is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in risk management and quantitative analytics. Currently serving as the Chief Risk Officer at eToro since May 2023, Daniel previously held the position of Group Chief Risk Officer at Oval Money, where significant advancements in risk functions across FCA and CySec regulated entities were made. Daniel's background includes foundational roles such as Head of Risk at Admirals, where a new risk function was established, and as the Founder of Step Function, which provided data science training to numerous corporate clients. Prior positions also include COO at Capital Index, Vice President of Risk Management at GAIN Capital, and Manager of the Binary Options Desk at GFT Global Markets. Daniel began a career in finance at IG, progressing from a graduate scheme to a market maker specializing in various financial instruments. Daniel holds a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Oxford University and completed a programming course in Python through Step Function.
