Jim Welsh

Jim Welsh is currently the IT Director at ETS Laboratories. Jim has over 20 years of experience in the IT industry, with a focus on networking and security. Jim began their career in 1995 as a Senior Network Engineer for FacilitaIT, where they were the lead Engineer for Napa Valley’s largest network integration company. During their time at FacilitaIT, Jim achieved several industry certifications, including Cisco Certified Networking Professional (CCNP), Cisco Certified Security Professional (CCSP), Information System Security Professional (INFOSEC), and Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) in messaging on Windows Server 2003. Jim also holds a National Security Agency/Committee on National Security Systems 4013 recognition certification.

At FacilitaIT, Jim designed, installed, configured, and maintained diverse networks for dozens of companies across the North Bay. Jim also trained co-workers in networking fundamentals, security protocols, and troubleshooting skills and techniques. In 2006, they developed a Vulnerability Testing and Security Auditing service offering. Jim is known for their excellent troubleshooting skills and creative problem-solving abilities.

Jim Welsh works with Leith Franklin - Customer Service, Export Liaison, Eric Hervé - Research Scientist, and Ascencion Ayala - Sample Logistic Specialist & Client Support. Their manager is Marjorie Burns, Co-Founder.
