Sedonia Yoshida

Training Coordinator at ETS Laboratories

Sedonia coordinates one of ETS’ two teams of lab analysts as a Shift Team Leader, a role she has held since early 2015. Sedonia joined ETS in 2006 as a chemistry analyst, working on manual and automated chemistry, metals, 4EP (GCMS) and logging in samples. She was born and raised in the South Bay and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biological Science and a Minor in Chemistry from The University of the Pacific. Sedonia went on to earn her Masters of Science in Biology. After finishing graduate school Sedonia moved to Napa. In 2007, she moved to the microbiology department, working on traditional and molecular biology as one of the main Scorpion analysts. In addition to microbiology production tasks, Sedonia has assisted in method consolidation and documentation, implemented advances in Scorpion testing, helped establish Allergen testing, and helped create a comprehensive training protocol for the department.
