Megan Burns

Megan Burns is an experienced professional in the fields of design and tattoo artistry. As the Co-Owner of Belly Fruit Tattoo since November 2022 and Owner of Megstera since January 2016, Megan specializes in freelance design, illustration, tattoos, and merchandise. Previous experience includes serving as a Tattoo Artist at Two the West, and a Creative Lead for design at Expeditors, where roles progressed from Junior Graphic Designer to Lead Designer. In addition, Megan worked as a Graphic Designer at Pinckney Marketing and Communications, contributing to various projects, and held freelance graphic design positions at Ashland Advertising. As Editor & Art Director for Rebel 56, an award-winning publication at East Carolina University, Megan oversaw design teams and events. Educational background includes a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from East Carolina University, completed in 2014.
