Nick Bitzer is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in engineering management and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE). Currently serving as a Senior Engineering Manager at Etsy since July 2022, Nick leads SRE teams to ensure reliability and performance. Previous roles include Director of Software Engineering and Senior Engineering Manager at Ombud, as well as Engineering Manager for Release Engineering at Snap Inc., overseeing the release process for Snapchat's mobile applications. Nick has held director-level positions at Comcast, managing one of the largest purpose-built Content Delivery Networks, and has a strong background in cloud migration and modern technologies from experiences at ReadyTalk and NetApp. Nick began the career as a Software Test Engineer at LSI Corporation and holds a degree from Metropolitan State University of Denver.
