Jaakko Ala-Paavola

Jaakko Ala-Paavola is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in technology and digital solutions. Currently serving as Director of Digital Solutions at Etteplan since April 2016, Jaakko leads the productization of new digital services while fostering collaboration across various service areas. Previously, Jaakko held the position of Technology Director at Etteplan, guiding technology development for Embedded Systems and IoT. Prior to that, Jaakko was Director of Industrial Internet at Espotel Oy, overseeing IoT business initiatives. Additional roles include Chief Technology Officer and Director of Technology Development at Espotel, Project Manager at Nokia, and various academic positions at Helsinki University of Technology. Jaakko holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan.
