Outi Torniainen

Outi Torniainen has a diverse work experience in marketing and communications. Outi started their career as a Marketing Director at Nixu Oy in 2000 and later worked as a Senior Consultant at Pohjoisranta Oy. In 2005, they became Vice President of Marketing and Communications at Stonesoft Corporation before joining Elektrobit Corporation as Director of Marketing and Communications in 2008. Outi then worked at Finpro as Senior Vice President of Communications and Marketing from 2009 to 2016. Outi also served as a Member of the Board at Ccea Oy (formerly Communicea Oy) from 2011 to 2020. Currently, Outi holds the position of Senior Vice President of Communications and Marketing at Etteplan Oyj, where they are also a member of the management team.

Outi Torniainen studied Communications and National economics at the University of Helsinki from 1985 to 1992. Outi also pursued Political science at Uppsala University from 1987 to 1989. Prior to university, Outi attended Tapiolan lukio from 1981 to 1984 and Tapiolan yhteiskoulu from 1975 to 1981.
