Pasi Hanski

Pasi Hanski is an experienced professional in product safety and hardware testing, currently serving as a Senior Product Safety Specialist at Etteplan Embedded Finland since February 2021. In this role, Pasi oversees the product safety department, focusing on safety testing and R&D design reviews. Previously, Pasi worked at Landis+Gyr from November 2011 to February 2021, progressing from Test Engineer to Senior Test Engineer and Specialist in HW Testing, where responsibilities included maintaining the HW test laboratory, supervising electrical safety, planning tests for electricity smart meters, and coordinating EU Type Approval processes. Pasi has been involved in standardization efforts as a member of several committees since 2017. Earlier experience includes positions at Sasken Finland Oy from January 2007 to October 2011, where audio testing for mobile devices was a primary focus. Pasi holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Telecommunications from Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan.
