Jorge Pires

Jorge Pires is an experienced professional in information security and data protection, currently serving as the Information Security & Data Protection Officer at Swiss Post since July 2023. Jorge holds multiple roles, including Data Protection Officer (DPO) at eu-LISA and LIPOR, as well as a DPO and Senior Consultant at Findmore Consulting, S.A., in addition to serving as LGPD DPO & Data Security Consultant at DataShield Brasil. Jorge's expertise extends to IT risk and compliance, having worked with Wipro on the SCANIA project and held the position of IT Risk Assessor at DG-TAXUD. With a background in law from Universidade Autónoma de Lisboa and public relations from Université de Neuchâtel, Jorge also possesses certifications in data protection and teaching.
