Katerina Kadena

Katerina Kadena has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Katerina is currently working as the Lead Information Technology Project Manager at eu-LISA since September 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Transformation Lead/Senior Program Manager at CIVIS - Europe's Civic University Alliance from January 2021 to December 2023. Katerina also worked as the Senior Project Manager and Senior Researcher at ISenseGroup/ICCS from October 2021 to June 2023. Earlier in their career, Katerina held positions such as Innovation & Business Development Manager and Senior Project Manager at Satways Ltd from April 2019 to September 2021. Katerina also served as the Chief Ninja, Head of Strategy, R&D Manager, and Change Catalyst at Wisefour from May 2018 to April 2020 and from November 2016 to May 2018. Additionally, they worked as the Head of Strategy and Digital Transformation, Senior Project Manager at Wisefour from November 2016 to May 2018. Katerina has also contributed their expertise as a Senior Project Manager & Business Development Lead at B2B Wave from December 2017 to December 2019 and as a Business Development Consultant at B2B Wave from December 2016 to December 2017. Katerina has further served as the Director of Business Development at Karamella SA from November 2010 to March 2012 and as the Head of Private Sector Initiatives, Management Consulting at RTD Talos from March 2010 to November 2010. Katerina Kadena earned a Diploma in Chemical Engineering (Integrated Master's Degree) from the University of Patras from 2001 to 2007. Katerina then pursued a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree at the European University Cyprus from 2011 to 2014. Currently, they are pursuing a Master's degree in Big Data and Artificial Intelligence at the National & Kapodistrian University of Athens, a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biomathematics, Bioinformatics, and Computational Biology at Ionian University from 2018 to 2023. In addition to their formal education, Katerina has obtained certifications such as AWS Academy Graduate - AWS Academy Cloud Foundations from Amazon Web Services (AWS), PRINCE2® 2017 Project Management Certifications from APMG International, and Data Protection Executive from TÜV AUSTRIA Group. Katerina also holds a Master In Business Administration (MBA) from CIM - Cyprus Business School, completed in 2011.
