Jessica Littrell Johnson has over 17 years of experience in education. Jessica began their career at Washburn Rural High School in 2004, where they worked as a Teacher until 2018. In 2018, they joined Eudora Schools USD 491, initially serving as an At Risk/Academic Support Instructor. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Alternative and Virtual Learning, a role they took on in August 2021.

Jessica Littrell Johnson has a strong educational background in the field of education. Jessica obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in English/Language Arts Teacher Education from Southeast Missouri State University in the years 2001 to 2004. Following this, they pursued a Master of Education degree in Reading Specialist at Washburn University from 2009 to 2011. Later, they earned another Master of Education degree in Educational Leadership and Administration, General from The University of Kansas between 2015 and 2017.

In addition to their degrees, Jessica has also obtained several certifications. Jessica is a Dyslexia Specialist, having completed a certification program at Wilson's Language in 2018. Jessica is also certified in 7-12 English Education, which they obtained in March 2012. Furthermore, they hold certifications in Building Leadership and Reading Specialist, both of which were obtained through the Kansas State Department of Education.
