Michael Anderson

Principal Clarinet at Eugene Symphony Association

Michael Anderson is the Artistic Director of microphilharmonic at The John G. Shedd Institute for the Arts. Michael has been serving as the Principal Clarinet at the Eugene Symphony Association since September 1988. Additionally, Michael is a Clarinet Instructor at MUSIC CAMPS @ WALLOWA LAKE. With a background in music education and administration, Michael has held various roles including Director of Artistic Administration and Interim Executive Director at the Oregon Bach Festival. Michael also co-directed Chamber Music @ Beall, a series featuring renowned artists and string quartets. Anderson has a Master of Music in Clarinet Performance and Literature from the University of Oregon and a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Portland State University.
