Lance Hughes Cusp

Lance Hughes is a Certified Utility Safety Professional (CUSP) with extensive experience in safety management and industrial hygiene. Currently serving as the Safety Program Manager at Eugene Water & Electric Board (EWEB) since May 2019, responsibilities include MSDS management, Hearing Conservation, and various safety training programs. Lance has a longstanding history with EWEB since starting as a Safety Consultant and later an Industrial Hygiene and Safety Technician. Additionally, Lance owns Drone 1 Aerial Photography, providing aerial solutions for media productions and inspections as an FAA Certified Remote Pilot. Prior roles include Field Service Manager at Securitas, Safety Engineer at Hynix Semiconductor, and Emergency Control Room Operator at Hyundai Semiconductor Manufacturing America. Educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Communication with a focus on Negotiation and Conflict Resolution from Southern Oregon University, and certification as an Emergency Medical Technician from Lane Community College.
