Paul Nelson

Paul Nelson, P.E. is an accomplished Control Systems Administrator at the Eugene Water & Electric Board since October 2017, focusing on engineering and automation to enhance efficiency and reliability. Prior experience includes a significant role as Senior Process Automation Specialist at The Dow Chemical Company from May 1993 to October 2017, where notable achievements included saving over $100,000 through power management and the streamlined design for clean room controls. Additionally, Paul served as an Adjunct Faculty member at Saginaw Valley State University, teaching Mechanical Engineering Lab courses in early 2012, and held leadership positions in Engineering and Services at both Dow Corning facilities in Oregon and Germany.
