Meihua Zhang

Staff Modeling and Simulation Engineer at Eugenus

Meihua Zhang has a diverse work experience in the field of Modeling and Simulation. From February 2023, they have been working as a Staff Modeling and Simulation Engineer at Eugenus, Inc., where they lead a team of engineers as the deputy leader of the Simulation Core Technology Center. Meihua has also been responsible for calculating flow and mass fraction non-uniformity in reactors to suggest hardware and process improvements.

Prior to their current role, Meihua Zhang held the position of Sr. Modeling and Simulation Engineer at Eugenus, Inc. from June 2021 to January 2023. In this role, they conducted steady and transient flow and thermal simulations for various thermal ALD systems and performed electromagnetic simulations to optimize RF coil design in plasma chambers.

Before joining Eugenus, Inc., Meihua Zhang worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Utah State University from February 2020 to June 2021. During their time there, they developed a high-order porous-medium immersed-boundary method for compressible flow.

Overall, Meihua Zhang's work experience showcases their expertise in modeling and simulation, with a focus on flow, thermal, and electromagnetic simulations.

Meihua Zhang's education history starts in 2008 when they enrolled at Northwestern Polytechnical University for their Bachelor's degree in Thermal Energy and Power Engineering. Meihua completed their undergraduate studies in 2012.

Afterwards, Meihua pursued a Master's degree in Engineering Thermophysics at Northwestern Polytechnical University from 2012 to 2015.

In 2016, Meihua Zhang joined the University of Kansas - School of Engineering where they are currently pursuing their Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering.

Additionally, in September 2017, Meihua obtained a certification in Neural Networks and Deep Learning from Coursera.
