Ian McDonald

Ian McDonald has worked in various roles throughout their career. From October 2018 to June 2020, they worked as a Network & Security Engineer at EUMETSAT. Following this, from July 2020 to July 2022, they served as the Security Operations Team Lead at the same company. Since June 2021, Ian has been working as the Competence Area Manager for Network and Communication Services at EUMETSAT.

Prior to joining EUMETSAT, they worked at the University of St Andrews. From September 2001 to December 2007, Ian served as the Network Manager. Ian then went on to become the Head of Technical & Infrastructure Services from January 2008 to November 2018.
