Manuel Martín has a progressive work experience in the field of information security. Manuel started their career as an Information Security Engineer - Internship at redBorder in 2015. There, they focused on integrating information security tools and prototyping cybersecurity solutions.

In 2015, they joined GMV as an Information Security Engineer, where they analyzed, designed, and integrated infrastructures and services based on information security technologies. Manuel also optimized the architecture design during their time there. In 2018, Manuel became an Information Security Engineer & Service Level Manager at EUMETSAT Headquarters, where they followed up on the implementation of IT security measures and reported progress to stakeholders.

Currently, Manuel works at EUMETSAT as the Information Security Operations Team Leader. In this role, they lead a team of information security engineers, delivers reliable information security services, and supports the security design process. Manuel is responsible for ensuring the availability of critical skills and maintaining up-to-date technological awareness. Overall, Manuel has gained extensive knowledge and experience in information security throughout their career.

Manuel Martín has a Bachelor of Engineering in Telecommunications with a focus on Information Technology, Computer, and Network Security from the Universidad de Sevilla. Manuel also holds a Master's degree in Cybersecurity from IMF Smart Education.

In addition to their formal education, Manuel has obtained several certifications relevant to their field. In 2016, they became a FireEye Engineer certified by FireEye, Inc. In 2017, they received the CyberArk Certified Sales Professional certification from CyberArk. In 2018, they obtained the CyberArk Defender Certification, also from CyberArk. In 2020, they became a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) through (ISC)². Most recently, in 2022, they completed the SEC504: Hacker Tools, Techniques, and Incident Handling course offered by the SANS Institute.
