Maria Virginia Cinque

Ground Stations Operations Engineer at EUMETSAT

Maria Virginia Cinque began their work experience in 2017 at Serco as a Spacecraft Controller at Eumetsat, where they operated on a 24/7 shift basis, assisting in configuring and testing the operational system and taking corrective action in the event of anomalies. In 2018, they transitioned to the role of Ground Station Analyst, where they reported and analyzed routine operations and generated new domains for antenna and ground station configurations. From 2019, they joined EUMETSAT as a Ground Stations Operations Engineer.

Maria Virginia Cinque obtained a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering from Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II in the years 2008 to 2012. Maria Virginia then pursued a Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering from the same university from 2013 to 2017. Prior to their university education, Maria graduated from Liceo scientifico Francesco Severi for high school in the years 2003 to 2008. In July 2017, they also obtained the Pegasus Certificate, which certifies their high scientific skills and standard European educational and scientific background in Aeronautics and Aerospace Engineering.
