Paola Coccaro

Paola Coccaro began their work experience in 2015 as a Trainee and later as a Master Thesis Student at OHB System. Paola then worked at Serco as a Spacecraft Controller from July 2016 to September 2017. Following that, they worked as a Mission Performance Analyst from October 2017 to May 2019 and as a MultiMission Dissemination Operations Engineer from June 2019 to November 2020, both at EUMETSAT. Paola then joined Exostaff GmbH and worked as a System Operations & Preparations Engineer at EUMETSAT from November 2020 to January 2023, and as an MTG System Operations Engineer at EUMETSAT from January 2023 to May 2023. Currently, they are employed as a System Operations Engineer at EUMETSAT.

Paola Coccaro earned a diploma in Scientific High School from Liceo Scientifico "Leonardo Da Vinci" in the period of 2004 to 2009. Paola then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical/Space Engineering at Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II from 2009 to 2012. Subsequently, they completed a Master's degree in the same field of study from the same university between 2013 and 2016. In terms of certifications, Paola obtained the Certificate in Integrated Skills in English ISE I - B1 of the CEF from Trinity College London in June 2007. Paola also obtained the MET-7 Spacecraft Controller certification from EUMETSAT in September 2016, followed by the MSG SpaCon / GrndCon certification in March 2017 from the same institution. Most recently, Paola completed the PRINCE2® Foundation and Practitioner Certification Training from PeopleCert in June 2021.
