Rasmus Lindstrot

Rasmus Lindstrot began their work experience in 2009 as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Freie Universität Berlin. In 2014, they joined Telespazio Germany GmbH as a Remote Sensing Scientific Consultant in the UVNS field. In 2016, Rasmus moved to EUMETSAT, where they held roles as a Remote Sensing Scientist - UVNS until September 2021. Currently, they serve as the Competence Area Manager - Atmospheric Chemistry at EUMETSAT.

Rasmus Lindstrot has a strong educational background in atmospheric sciences and meteorology. Rasmus started their academic journey in 1998 at the University of Cologne, where they pursued studies in meteorology. After completing their studies at this institution in 1999, they moved on to the Freie Universität Berlin.

At the Freie Universität Berlin, Rasmus Lindstrot obtained a Diploma in Atmospheric Sciences and Meteorology, which they pursued from 1999 to 2004. Rasmus'sdedication to the field continued, leading him to pursue a PhD in Atmospheric Sciences and Meteorology at the same institution from 2005 to 2009. During their doctoral studies, they also had the opportunity to broaden their academic horizons by spending a year (2005-2006) at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
