Salvatore Nocella

Salvatore Nocella has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Salvatore started their career as a PhD student in Computer Science at the University of dell'Aquila from 2003 to 2006. In 2007, they worked as a consultant at Nous Informatica and as a lecturer at the University degli Studi Roma Due - Tor Vergata. Salvatore then joined Telespazio as a Mission Planning and Operations Engineer, responsible for the Ground Mission Segment planning and scheduling for the Galileo/IOV project. In 2009, they moved to Telespazio VEGA Deutschland GmbH as a Spacecraft Operations Engineer, where they worked until 2017. Salvatore is currently employed at EUMETSAT as a Spacecraft Operations Preparation Engineer. Overall, Salvatore Nocella has a strong background in spacecraft operations and engineering.

Salvatore Nocella earned a PhD in Computer Science with a focus on Operations Research, Combinatorial Optimization, and Integer Linear Programming from the Università degli Studi dell'Aquila. This degree was obtained between 2003 and 2006.

In 2014, Salvatore Nocella attended the University of Southampton for a Space Systems Engineering Course, although no specific degree was conferred during this period.

Before their doctoral studies, Salvatore Nocella completed their Laurea cum Laude in Computer Science with a specialization in Operations Research and Management Science at the Università degli Studi dell'Aquila. This degree was obtained between 1996 and 2003.
