Simon Kok Lupemba

Simon Kok Lupemba has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Simon Kok most recently worked as a Junior Remote Sensing Scientist at EUMETSAT from 2022. Prior to that, they worked as an IT Consultant at Netcompany from 2020 to 2022, where they were involved in supporting, maintaining, and developing medium-sized public IT projects. Simon Kok also had experience as a Co-Founder of Rebel Maps, a software-as-a-service startup, from 2019 to 2020. In this role, they gained practical experience in entrepreneurship, lean startup, value proposition, and business model canvas. Simon had teaching experience at DTU Space, National Space Institute, from 2017 to 2019, where they served as a Teaching Assistant in Geo- & Planetary Physics I. Simon Kok was responsible for guiding and assisting students in exercises. Prior to that, they worked as a Teaching Assistant in other physics courses at DTU - Technical University of Denmark from 2016 to 2017. Simon also had previous experience as a Substitute Teacher at Sct. Jørgens skole from 2014 to 2015, where they taught various subjects and had responsibilities in teaching, conflict resolution, and student evaluation.

Simon Kok Lupemba received their Bachelor of Science degree in Earth and Space Physics and Engineering from DTU - Technical University of Denmark in 2018. In the same year, they also completed an exchange program in Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical Engineering at Delft University of Technology. From 2018 to 2020, Simon pursued a Master's degree in Earth and Space Physics and Engineering at DTU - Technical University of Denmark.
