Victor Burciu

Victor Burciu began their work experience in 1998 as a Computer Specialist at Comtec, where they worked until 2001. Victor then transitioned to the role of Web Developer at Comtec from 2002 to 2004. In 2005, they joined Verasys International as a Technical Specialist and later became a Project Manager from 2006 to 2007. Victor then moved to SintecMedia in 2007 and held various roles, including PL/SQL Developer, Team Leader/Oracle DBA, and Oracle Database Administrator until 2011. From 2011 to 2012, they worked as an Oracle Developer at Metro Systems. Following this, they joined IBM in 2012 as an Oracle Database Administrator until 2018. Currently, they are employed as a Senior Database Engineer at EUMETSAT starting in 2018.

Victor Burciu obtained their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Craiova, Faculty of Automatics, Computers, and Electronics. In addition to their degree, they have received certifications such as the ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from EXIN your ICT competence partner, and various Oracle certifications including Oracle Certified Expert in Oracle Real Application Clusters 11g and Grid Infrastructure Administrator, Oracle Database 11g Administrator Certified Associate, Oracle Database 11g Administrator Certified Professional, Oracle Database 11g Performance Tuning Certified Expert, and Oracle Database 12c Certified Professional.
