Eupol National Language Assistant at EUPOL COPPS

Fridoon Wali has extensive experience in language assistance and physiotherapy. Currently serving as the Eupol National Language Assistant at EUPOL COPPS since July 1977, Fridoon Wali is responsible for translating various documents at professional levels and maintaining the translation work plan. Prior experience includes serving as the Physiotherapist Incharge at ICRC from March 1998 to October 2010, where responsibilities included managing medical tasks, assisting colleagues, and handling administrative duties in the male physio paraplegic department. Earlier, Fridoon Wali worked as an Admin Assistant at ARCS in 1997-1998, engaging in administrative tasks and support for NGO members. Fridoon Wali's educational background includes a Bachelor's Degree in Physiotherapy from the Physiotherapy Institute of Kabul/IAM and a high school diploma from Ghulam Haider Khan High School.

EUPOL COPPS

EUPOL COPPS is a European Common Security and Defence Policy (CSDP) mission based and operational in the West Bank. It is part of the wider efforts of the European Union in support of Palestinian state building in the context of working towards a comprehensive peace based on a two-State solution. The Mission assists the Palestinian Authority in building the institutions of a future State of Palestine in the areas of policing and criminal justice under Palestinian ownership and in accordance with the best international standards. EUPOL COPPS supports the reform and development of the police and judicial institutions so as to increase the safety and security of the Palestinian population in line with the domestic agenda of the Palestinian Authority in reinforcing the rule of law. EUPOL COPPS acts also as a key channel for the efforts of the EU and the wider international community, in its area of responsibility.
