Florian Forstner

Florian Forstner is an experienced Laboratory Engineer currently working at Eurac Research since April 2023. With a background in engineering and project implementation, Florian has held various roles including Entwicklung & Inbetriebnahme at ENTRENCO GMBH, where responsibilities included commissioning energy systems for the Japanese market. Previous positions include being a Trainee in Functional Safety at ALTEN Austria, and a commissioning engineer for biomass gasification power plants at Highterm Research GmbH, where significant contributions were made in system testing and calibration. Florian's technical foundation is supported by a Diplom-Ingenieur (FH) in Vehicle Engineering from FH Joanneum, alongside a carpenter certification from WKO Steiermark. Career beginnings include internships at notable companies such as AVL and Mercedes-Benz Consulting GmbH, further enhancing practical engineering skills.
