Marcus Nicolson currently serves as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Eurac Research, focusing on the B-SHAPES project investigating the impact of borders on perceptions within European societies. Previously, Marcus held dual roles as an Associate Researcher and Project Manager at Glasgow Caledonian University, leading various international research projects, including the D. Rad Project on de-radicalization and the EU-AMIF funded VOLPOWER initiative. Marcus has gained diverse experience working with NGOs, educational institutions, and in manual labor roles, contributing to community projects and youth engagement. Educational credentials include a PhD in Social Sciences from Glasgow Caledonian University, along with a Master’s Degree in Intercultural Encounters from the University of Helsinki and a Bachelor’s Degree in Spanish and Law from the University of Strathclyde.
