Antoinette Nikolova

Antoinette Nikolova currently serves as Director of the Balkan Free Media Initiative and as a Reporter for EURACTIV, with both positions held since May 2021 and February 2020, respectively. Additionally, Antoinette has been a Senior Advisor at APCO Worldwide since 2016 and has worked as an EU Correspondent for NOVA Broadcasting Group / Modern Times Group since July 2014, as well as for Life.The Economist from November 2014 to May 2017. Previous roles include Communication Project Manager for the Kurdish Regional Government in Iraq, EU Correspondent for bTV Media Group, and journalist/correspondent for Deutsche Welle. Antoinette also served as a Guest Lecturer at Centro Studi Americani and worked as a Media Adviser for the Italian Parliament, focusing on media relations and communication management. Antoinette holds a degree from Pontifical Gregorian University.
