Duraid Alsamarai is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in innovation and health technologies, currently serving as the Head of Innovation and Health Technologies at Länsförsäkringar since January 2013. In this role, Duraid leads the development and implementation of healthcare technologies that enhance customer value and identifies strategies for long-term organizational growth. Additional positions at Länsförsäkringar include Business Developer & Project Manager, Risk Manager, and member of the Sustainability Committee. Duraid is also a member of the Health Group at Eurapco, a strategic alliance of mutual insurance companies in Europe. Early career experience includes founding Wasteless Sverige and working as a Credit Analyst at Wasa Kredit AB. Duraid holds a Master's degree in Digital Management from Teesside University and an Executive MBA from Hult Ashridge, along with additional certifications and diplomas in business and languages.
