Gregory Brew

Gregory Brew is an accomplished analyst and scholar with extensive experience in energy geopolitics and US foreign policy. Currently serving as an analyst at Eurasia Group since January 2023, Brew previously held the position of Kissinger Visiting Scholar at Yale University from August 2021 to January 2023. Brew contributed to The FUSE blog on the geopolitics of oil at Securing America's Future Energy from August 2019 to December 2021 and served as Deputy Managing Editor for the Texas National Security Review at War on the Rocks in 2020. Brew's academic background includes a post-doctoral fellowship at Southern Methodist University, where research focused on US-Iran relations and oil politics, resulting in two peer-reviewed articles. Brew earned a PhD in History from Georgetown University and has contributed writings and analyses for various platforms, including OilPrice.com and Wikistrat, focusing on international political economy and Middle Eastern issues.
