Assel Koyanbayeva

Assel Koyanbayeva is a seasoned geotechnical professional with extensive experience in managing geotechnical projects and engineering services across various mining sectors. Currently serving as Principal Geotechnical Manager at Eurasian Resources Group since July 2018, responsibilities include overseeing geotechnical projects for all ERG assets. Previous roles encompass positions as Geotechnical Engineer at Shalkiya Zinc Ltd, Consultant Geotechnical Engineer at SRK Consulting, and several capacities at Kazakhmys Corporation, where contributions ranged from project coordination to geotechnical support and standards development. Educational credentials include a degree in Mining Surveying Engineering from Karaganda Mining & Technical University and a degree in Economics from Turar Ryskulov Kazakh Economics University.
