Joan Romero I Circuns

Joan Romero i Circuns serves as the Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer at ACCIÓ / Catalonia Trade & Investment since 2009. In addition, Joan is a Board Member at Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) and holds multiple leadership roles, including President of Parc Tecnològic del Vallès, S.A. and Board Trustee at both Eurecat and LEITAT Technological Center since 2017. Academic contributions include serving as a Professor of Spanish and World Economy at Universitat de Barcelona from 2009 to 2011 and as a member of the Executive Board at Institut Català de les Empreses Culturals (ICEC). Previous experience includes a tenure at CIDEM - Catalan Agency for Innovation and Business Development as Planning Director and Quality and Knowledge Manager. Educational background includes a Master in Operations and Innovation from Esade and studies in Orchestration for Films and TV at Berklee College of Music.
