Michel van Riet

Michel van Riet is a Reliability Engineer at Euro Caps since December 2022, previously serving as a Maintenance Engineer at Alstom and a Techniek Trainee focused on Maintenance & Reliability at NS. With a background in Mechanical Engineering from Delft University of Technology, Michel has significant experience in optimizing maintenance concepts and enhancing operational performance for rolling stock. Additional roles include a Graduate Internship at Jumbo Maritime, where research centered on NOx emissions in marine engines, and various leadership positions in student associations related to mechanical systems and marine engineering. Beginning a career in maintenance mechanics at Hydrosan, expertise spans both practical and theoretical elements of engineering.
