Daniel Engler FCA has extensive work experience in finance and accounting. Daniel started their career at Bourner Bullock as a Trainee Accountant and progressed to become a qualified accountant. In this role, they gained exposure to a variety of clients and developed skills in accounting, tax, and audit.

Daniel then moved to PwC, where they worked as an Audit Senior. After two years, they joined KPMG as an Audit Manager, where they managed audit engagements.

In 2001, Daniel joined Morgan Sindall Group plc as a Group Finance Manager. In this role, they were responsible for group consolidations, corporate reporting, and managing the interim and year-end processes. Daniel also handled group corporation tax and performed the internal audit role. Daniel stayed with the company until 2014.

From 2015 to 2017, Daniel held roles at Morgan Sindall Group plc as a Group Financial Systems Manager and Financial and MI Analyst.

In 2017, they joined Enable as the Head of Finance. Daniel created a financial model for the newly formed group and reviewed equity funding options for a management buyout. Daniel also developed management reporting for the board.

In 2020, Daniel became the Group Finance Director at Enable, overseeing finance operations and contributing to the completion of the MBO. Daniel left the company in 2022.

Currently, Daniel holds the position of Head of Finance at Euro Car Parks. Daniel is responsible for a business transformation change program and reports directly to the owner manager.

Daniel Engler FCA has a comprehensive education history in the field of accountancy. Daniel started their academic journey at Westlands School from 1985 to 1987, where they completed their O Levels. Daniel then pursued their A levels in Accounting, Economics, and Computing Studies at South Devon College of Arts & Technology from 1987 to 1989. Daniel further advanced their knowledge in accountancy by obtaining a Bachelor of Arts with Honours degree in Accounting & Finance from Thames Valley University, which they attended from 1989 to 1992. Finally, they achieved the prestigious designation of Fellow Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW), having completed their studies between 1993 and 1996.
