Peter Olexa

Peter Olexa has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Peter began their career as a Check-in/Passenger services agent at Košice Airport in 2014 and then moved to Poprad-Tatry Airport, where they worked as a Handling/Passenger services agent until December 2016. In 2015, Peter joined EUROCONTROL as a Trainee and later became a Contractor, working until 2017. Peter then worked as an ATCO Student at Řízení letového provozu České republiky, s. p. from April to November 2017. Peter joined Euro Jet Intercontinental Ltd. in 2018 as an OCC Coordinator. Peter later took on the role of Data manager & Business Owner of Airline Diversion Program, where they were responsible for aeronautical data flow management, database development, and testing. In January 2022, Peter was promoted to Head of Vendors & Data Management at Euro Jet.

Peter Olexa holds a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD degree in Aeronautics/Aviation/Aerospace Science and Technology, General from Czech Technical University in Prague, which they obtained from 2019 to 2022. Prior to this, they earned an Engineer's degree in Air Traffic Management from Technical University of Kosice, Faculty of aeronautics, from 2015 to 2017. Peter also holds a Bachelor's degree in Air Traffic Control Operator from Technická univerzita v Košiciach, Letecká fakulta, with honors, which they completed from 2012 to 2017. Peter'sacademic journey began in 2007 at Die Bilinguale Abteilung des Gymnasiums SSDT Poprad, although no degree or field of study is specified for this period.
