Oliver Hommel

Oliver Hommel serves as the CEO of EURO Kartensysteme GmbH since December 2021 and is a member of the Board of Directors for the European Cards Stakeholders Group since December 2022. Previously, Oliver Hommel held various positions at notable organizations, including nexo standards and Accenture, where roles spanned from Principal Director to Senior Managing Consultant in Payments and Financial Services. Oliver's extensive experience in the payments industry includes leadership positions at NTT DATA Deutschland GmbH, DSGV, and the Euro Alliance of Payment Schemes. Earlier in the career, Oliver Hommel contributed to the Bundesverband der Deutschen Volksbanken und Raiffeisenbanken as Group Head of "Debit & Smart Cards." Academic credentials include a Diploma in Economics from The University of Bonn.
