Sami Gichki

Sami Gichki currently serves as the Chair and Trustee for Manchester City of Sanctuary, contributing to the organization's mission to create a welcoming community for refugees and asylum seekers. As a Board Member and Co-Chair for The #iWill Movement, Sami plays a key role in empowering young people to effect positive societal change. In addition to governance roles at The Dean Trust and Stretford High School, Sami is a Trustee for both Young Roots, supporting young refugees, and Intergenerational England, which focuses on bridging generational divides. Further contributions include serving as a Trustee for the Sheila McKechnie Foundation, promoting campaigning for social change, and Euro Youth Mental Health, enhancing youth mental health initiatives.
