Guilherme Nogueira

Guilherme Nogueira is a highly accomplished chemical process engineer currently serving as a Senior Chemical Process Engineer on the Operations Team at EUROAPI since June 2025. Previously, Guilherme held various leadership roles at Aqdot Limited from April 2016 to May 2025, including Technical Operations Lead, where leadership was provided to implement the world’s first semi-continuous manufacturing plant for Cucurbiturils (AqFresh™) in Spain. As Process Development & Technology Leader, Guilherme oversaw the design phases of another manufacturing plant for Cucurbiturils (AqBit™). Additional roles included Process Development Lead and Chemical Technologist, focusing on chemical process development and scale-up. Early career experience included a student researcher position at the Faculty of Sciences University of Lisbon and a chemist consultant role at Shine Iberia, where chemical experiments were developed for a live TV show. Guilherme holds both M.Sc. and B.Sc. degrees in Technological Chemistry from the Faculty of Sciences University of Lisbon.
